Whenever I work on a project in After Effects it’s a pain to wait for previews.
Even if you have the fastest computer it’s never enough for After Effects.
Here are a few tips I use in my workflow to make previews faster:
- Change the resolution quality of your composition.
- Solo a layer(s) you’re working with.
- Add SSD disk cache.
- Save your project on a separate SSD disk.
- Reduce project to remove unused items.
