How to find missing files in After Effects?

After Effects might show you a missing files error if you changed the footage folder or did not unzip the project before opening it. Follow these steps to resolve the problem. If you’re experiencing a missing file error with files imported from AEJuice Pack Manager, download a regular After Effects project from the account and try it instead.
Type “missing” or “missing footage” in the project window

Double-click on any missing file

Find a missing file on your computer

After Effects will find all missing files automatically.

If you still see other missing files, repeat steps 2-3 until all missing files are resolved.
