This is a very rare trick but it saved me a few times.
You can open multiple instances of the same After Effects version.
I used it to render different parts of the projects at the same time.
Windows:
- Create a shortcut of After Effects
- Right-click – Properties
- Add -m to the target
- Apply
Now every time you open After Effects it opens in separate instance.
