1. How is the import different from other packages?

By default, the plugin imports 4 layers instead of 1. n n Only 1 layer is editable. n

You might ask why we did it this way. Let me show. n

1. You can scale the layer and the marker will stay the same normal size. If the marker was in the regular pre-comp it would have scaled with the layer and it would look bad when there are multiple markers with different sizes. n
2. When you scale the layer, the size of the lines stays the same dynamically. It also helps to keep the scene’s style consistent where the line is the same width in different objects no matter how small or big they are. n

• You can customize the marker’s angle. n

There are multiple other reasons but the bottom line this structure gives you the flexibility to create a better video with less hustle. Additionally, you can hide layers to only see a single layer and forget about all the technical details. n n

We got you covered and will process all the calculations in the background. You can edit the layer like any other layer.

You can disable all these features and import the animation as a regular pre-comp if you’d like by pressing settings and selecting the precompose imported layers option. n

2. Styles

You can choose from pre-made styles if you’d like to change the style, remove the marker or remove the drawing animation at all. Styles can only be applied before the import.
