Green screen in Premiere Pro

So you’ve imported an animation to Premiere Pro and it looks green?
This article will explain how to fix it.

1. Press Edit – Preferences – Media

2. Turn off “H264/HEVC hardware accelerated decoding (and encoding)” – press OK

3. Restart Premiere Pro

Clean cache (optional)

If you’re still seeing a green screen at this point try cleaning the cache.
Go to Edit – Preferences – Media Cache and press Delete
