How to fix “After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {stream at index has wrong matchname} ( 29 :: 0)”?
macOS
* Click “Edit” → “Purge” → “All Memory & Disk Cache…“.
* Click “Ok“ to clear Memory and Disk Cache.
Windows
* Click “Edit” → “Purge” → “All Memory & Disk Cache…“.
* Click “Ok“ to clear Memory and Disk Cache.
If your issue persists and you store cache on an external SSD
- Close Adobe After Effects.
- Unplug the external SSD.
- Open Adobe After Effects and try to import any animation.
- Plug in external SSD.
